The activities and projects undertaken by Thompson & Co. on a daily basis range from the grand opening of Alaska’s first Target stores in Anchorage and Wasilla to arranging for and conducting editor meetings or press trips for writers.

The agency works to promote its clients in statewide, regional and national media. Recently, the agency helped coordinate the CBS This Morning Show’s live broadcast from Alaska, the Robb Report’s detailed coverage of a TCS Expeditions’ journey and the Economist’s reporting on Anchorage’s energy sector and economic development potential.

Thompson & Co. also hosts Alaska Media Road Show – a daylong event for travel writers wanting to meet in short, speed dating-style sessions with Alaska travel businesses to find out the latest travel trends and the best Alaska stories.

On any given day, the T&Co staff is working the phones or some important event such as the roll out of Anchorage’s new brand, Big, Wild, Life in Anchorage, an editor luncheon in New York, a private jet rollout in Seattle or somewhere in between to promote a client project.
